Papercraft Workshops

We offer a range of papercraft and related workshops, including paper flower making, papercutting, origami, marbling, stamp carving and paper decoration making. Our scheduled workshops are held at various venues in Yorkshire, however we can run any of these workshops at other locations around the UK for private groups. Some of our workshops can also be run virtually via Zoom or Microsoft Teams. We can work with hen parties, birthday parties, baby showers, team building events, clubs or anybody interested in a craft party. Email us if you would like more information.

Book Paper Rose

2 hrs, £20 per person

Join us for a fun workshop to learn how to make paper roses from your choice of book paper, sheet music or maps. You will develop the skills to make further roses at home. Book paper roses make lovely gifts, home decorations or even wedding bouquets. Perfect for Valentine’s Day, Mother's Day, weddings, your first wedding anniversary (paper) or just to treat yourself!

All equipment and materials will be provided, however if you have a favourite book or piece of music that you would like to incorporate, feel free to bring it along.

Kusudama Flowers

In person workshop: 2 hrs, £20 per person

Virtual workshop: 1 hr, £50 workshop fee

Join us to learn about the Japanese art of kusudama. You will be taught some basic origami folds and then be shown how to use these to make beautiful flowers. We love to recycle and work with old book pages, maps, sheet music, magazine pages and even junk mail!

The virtual version of this workshop is perfect for businesses looking for an affordable and eco-friendly team activity. We use materials you probably already have at home, so there are no expensive kits to pay for, just a small workshop facilitation fee.

Origami Lilies

2 hours, £20 per person

Join us for a fun couple of hours to learn how to make origami lilies. During the workshop you will be able to choose from a selection of coloured and patterned paper, sheet music and book pages to fold your lilies, and them assemble them on wooden stems. Alternative options for displaying the lilies will be discussed.

All equipment and materials will be provided, however if you have a favourite book or piece of music that you would like to incorporate, feel free to bring it along.

Book Paper Flowers

Half day, £32 per person

Join us for a fun, informative half-day course to learn how to make paper flowers from book paper and sheet music. During the workshop you will make several different types of flower using simple materials such as pages from old books, wire or wood, glue and floristry tape.

You will develop the skills to make further flowers at home. Book paper flowers make lovely gifts, home decorations or even wedding bouquets. Perfect for Valentine’s Day, Mother's Day, weddings, your first wedding anniversary (paper) or just to treat yourself!

All equipment and materials will be provided, however if you have a favourite book or piece of music that you would like to incorporate, feel free to bring it along.

Papercut Lantern

2 1/2 hours, £25 per person

Join us for a fun, informative workshop learning how to make a papercut lantern.

During the session you will learn how to cut safely but effectively, gain some useful tips and try using different kinds of papers. Then, after practising, you will apply your new found knowledge and skills to make a lantern using one of our templates or even your own design. Christmas themed templates are also available.

This workshop is perfect for beginners to papercutting. All equipment and materials will be provided.

Introduction to Marbling

2 hours, £25 per person

Join us for a relaxing workshop learning the art of marbling.

During this workshop you will learn about different marbling techniques and then try out this relaxing, mindful craft for yourself. During the workshop you will try marbling paper to make gift tags or to take away to use in your own craft projects. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to experiment with marbling other materials including a ceramic coaster.

This workshop is perfect for beginners and all equipment and materials will be provided.

Stamp Carving

2 1/2 hours, £25 per person

Join us for a fun, informative workshop learning how to make stamps.

During the session you will learn how to use lino cutting tools safely, but effectively, to carve stamps from your own designs or using one of our templates. These stamps can then be used with ink pads to print cards, gifts tags and wrapping paper, or for scrap booking and journaling.

This workshop is perfect for beginners to lino cutting and/or stamping. All equipment and materials will be provided.
