Craft Workshops
We offer half and full day craft workshops at sites in and around York. See the listings below for workshops at the Wild Harvest sites that are currently available to book. Or visit our main venue pages (The Green Room and Howsham Mill) for information and booking for the workshops being held there.
We can also run any of these workshops at other locations around the UK for private groups interested in a longer craft party. We are also happy to organise bespoke workshops if you have a craft idea in mind. Email us if you would like more information.
Book Paper Flowers

At Wild Harvest Tipis and Activities, Hawthorne Farm, near York

Join us for a fun, informative half-day course to learn how to make paper flowers from book paper and sheet music. During the course you will make several different types of flower using simple materials such as pages from old books, wire or wood, glue and floristry tape.
You will develop the skills to make further flowers at home. Book paper flowers make lovely gifts, home decorations or even wedding bouquets. Perfect for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, weddings, or just to treat yourself!
All equipment and materials will be provided, however if you have a favourite book or piece of music that you would like to incorporate, feel free to bring it along.
The venue has free parking and a loo. Hot drinks will be provided.
Minimum age for participants is 18 years.
Howsham Mill

‘Bath by candlelight kit’ workshop
Saturday 2nd April 2022, 11:00 - 15:00
At Howsham Mill between York and Malton
Join us for a fun, informative workshop learning different Wild Harvest crafts. During the day you will try your hand at making soap tailored to your tastes, experiment with using different oils and botanicals to make bath bombs and learn how to roll beeswax candles. The crafts produced will then be used to make a 'bath by candlelight kit' to take away. This workshop is perfect as a Mother's Day gift or just to treat yourself!
All equipment and materials will be provided.
Hot drinks will be provided. Bring a packed lunch. The venue has free parking and a loo. Please note Howsham Mill itself is approximately 1/4 mile walk from the carpark.
