Join us for a fun, informative half-day course to learn how to make paper flowers from book paper and sheet music. During the course you will make several different types of flower using simple materials such as pages from old books, wire or wood, glue and floristry tape.
You will develop the skills to make further flowers at home. Book paper flowers make lovely gifts, home decorations or even wedding bouquets. Perfect for Valentine’s Day, Mother's Day, weddings, your first wedding anniversary (paper) or just to treat yourself!
All equipment and materials will be provided, however if you have a favourite book or piece of music that you would like to incorporate, feel free to bring it along.
Join us for a fun, informative workshop learning how to make a papercut lantern.
During the session you will learn how to cut safely but effectively, gain some useful tips and try using different kinds of papers. Then, after practising, you will apply your new found knowledge and skills to make a lantern using one of our templates or even your own design.
This workshop is perfect for beginners to papercutting. All equipment and materials will be provided.
Join us for a relaxing workshop learning the art of marbling.
During this workshop you will learn about different marbling techniques and then try out this relaxing, mindful craft for yourself. During the workshop you will try marbling paper to make gift tags or to take away to use in your own craft projects. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to experiment with marbling other materials.
This workshop is perfect for beginners and all equipment and materials will be provided.
Join us for a fun, informative workshop learning how to make stamps.
During the session you will learn how to use lino cutting tools safely, but effectively, to carve stamps from your own designs or using one of our templates. These stamps can then be used with ink pads to print cards, gifts tags and wrapping paper, or for scrap booking and journaling.
This workshop is perfect for beginners to lino cutting and/or stamping. All equipment and materials will be provided.
Join us for a fun, informative workshop learning different Wild Harvest crafts. During the day you will try your hand at making soap tailored to your tastes, experiment with using different oils and botanicals to make bath bombs and learn how to roll beeswax candles. The crafts produced will then be used to make a 'bath by candlelight kit' to take away. This workshop is perfect as a gift or just to treat yourself!
All equipment and materials will be provided.
Join us for a fun papercraft workshop to make Christmas stars. During the course you will be introduced to different techniques including origami and weaving paper strips. You will learn how to make three (or more!) different types of stars that can be used to decorate presents or as decorations for your Christmas tree and dining table. They also make lovely gifts for friends and family.
All equipment and materials will be provided, including a kit to continue making a Christmas star garland at home.
Join us for a fun workshop to make a pompom wreath for Christmas. During the course you will be introduced to different tools and techniques for making pompoms and be shown how to make several styles and sizes of wreath. You will then choose your wool colours and make your pompoms, before assembling them into your final creation.
All equipment and materials will be provided, however if you have a favourite wool, ribbon or other decorations that you would like to incorporate into your wreath, feel free to bring them along.
Join us for a workshop to make a set of personalised Christmas crackers to adorn your festive table.
We use recycled Kraft cracker boards and you will be shown different ways of decorating them including plastic-free options. The boards can be decorated using festive patterned paper, stamps, pens or left blank, and then be embellished with pretty raffia, ribbons and trimmings. Choose a style and make a set, or mix and match as you wish!
Jokes and hats* will also be provided. Please bring any additional mini gifts that you would like to put inside. Chocolates are always a popular option!
*Paper hats are included, however there is also the option of joining our reusable felt Christmas hats workshop.
During the workshop you will be provided with resources to make a set of 6 crackers. If you would like to make more, additional crackers can be added at a cost of £2.50 each by emailing us at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
Join us for a workshop to make a set of six reusable felt hats. Felt hats are a great alternative to paper hats as they can be reused for many Christmases to come.
During the workshop you will be shown how to construct the hats and then be able to choose from a range of colours of felt and various haberdashery items for decoration. Choose a style and make a matching set, or mix and match as you wish!
Join us for a fun papercraft workshop to make Christmas baubles. During the course you will learn how to make two (or more!) different types of bauble using a selection of Christmas-themed papers and decorate them with beads, ribbon or twine. They will make a great addition to your festive decor, or lovely gifts for friends and family.
